Sylvia's Almond Cake

One almond cake

3/4 cup butter (1-1/2 sticks)
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons almond extract
Pinch of salt
Sliced almonds

4-1/2 sticks butter
4-1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs
4-1/2 cup flour
6 teaspoons almond extract
3 pinches of salt
Sliced Almonds

Directions

Beat softened butter with sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add almond extract, flour, and salt. Mix until blended. Grease and flour a quiche pan. Pour batter into the pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle almonds over the top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Cool
